I moved to Portland. It's alright, but I live in a crappy suburb so I don't get into town much, and I don't really know where to go to meet folks. It was really great hanging out in sea-town, sorry I didn't come back as often as I'd wanted to, what with the whole 120 miles away thing. It's really hard to turn acquaintances into close friends, even when you like them a ton. It's kind of the big hurdle I am trying to get past right now. I used to fill the in-real-life hanging out gaps with internet communicating but it's not working so well lately. It is harder than I thought to find people you can actually communicate with. You and Chaske and Micah and Angie were a big surprise to meet in Yakima, and I really regret not having more opportunities to hang out and bond and talk to people who are actually worth talking to. I'm totally drunk if it wasn't obvious, and I am watching the DRINKY CROW SHOW, which is apparently a full-length cartoon of the greatest comic ever created, and so I have chosen my live-journal icon appropriately.`

I dig on the turning "acquaintances into close friends" thing...I'm rarely able to overcome that.

What are you doing in Portland? Running some sort of human trafficking ring (as is custom in Portland)? Is there no internet there? Naturally you know, if you have fresh white flesh to peddle you surely can get internet (for the internet is powered by pure human misery/butts).

Next time you're in Seattle give me a ring.
